From our first interaction with the staff, it was very clear that they are very passionate about animals and taking care of them. Our dogs were in for daycare and we were shown where they would be for the day, and they had photos for us when we picked them up so we could see how much fun they had. Very much looking forward to dropping them off again for another fun-filled day!

I was told about this place by a few people. I took my Bruce there — he is a 10-month-old chow — and he came back exhausted and slept the whole night, which was great. Bruce is high energy and needs lots of exercise… I take him there on a regular basis now and he is so excited to see the staff and the dogs. It’s great socialisation for him and good exercise. The staff are lovely and you can see they have a real passion for animals. Thank you!

We are so pleased to have found this wonderful boarding kennel. Having a soft-natured but slightly boisterous rescue dog, we were apprehensive about going away at Christmas. The wonderful ladies at Dogz & Catz Retreat have been working with us to ensure that Fred will be comfortable and well looked after, and he comes back home content and relaxed after his day out. It really meant a lot to us that Naomi gave us a follow-up call after his first sessions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the best care for their pets.

The staff at Dogz & Catz Retreat are fantastic! My boy is fear reactive, but here he plays and makes new friends — it’s amazing how happy he is around all the doggies, and he looks forward to daycare each week. I trust this place 100% with how well cared for he is and won’t take him anywhere else!

Highly recommended for big and small dogs. We have a 15-year-old Chihuahua, a 4-year-old Lab and a 2-year-old English Staffy, and they all love it. The bigger dogs stay together in the big dog area. Dogs are always happy and clean when we pick them up from boarding. Their Day Care service is also recommended.

Our dog Cooper just loves coming here. We’ve tried a few different doggy daycares around the area, but this is definitely her favourite. As soon as we rock up she jumps out of the car without a glance back and she’s off to play with all her best friends.

Caillou and Dawn totally love your day care! I only have to say “Day care” and Dawn runs to the front door, sitting patiently, while Caillou pulls the leads out of the dog box. They come home with huge smiles, eat, then sleep. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our dog Stella stayed here for 10 nights while we were on our honeymoon. She was well looked after, and when we came to pick her up we could see her happily playing with the other small dogs. The staff are really caring. I thoroughly recommend Dogz and Catz Retreat and will happily use them next time we need our pup looked after.
